Topic 2:Classification of animals and plants I have also done research on Giant Pandas, or Ailuropoda melanoleuca. It is in the Ursidae or Bear family although thought to have belonged to the raccoon family.
Despite belonging to the Carnivora order(diet group), it's diet consists of 99% bamboo. It also eats honey, yam, oranges etc. It's habitat was once lowland but human activities have forced them to the mountains.
